Bat Kut Teh Night!

Here is the chef responsible for the yummy Bat Kut Teh! =)


D and I were the first to arrive - given we had been wandering in the city/suburb for the entire day and had not have enough sleep the night before, we welcome a rest before food is served.

LH was in the midst of his artwork when we arrived. So, we put our "artistic talent" to good use. 

I think it is beautiful and a good way to add colours to your home. My inspiration for the day!

G & T finally arrived and we dug into the food. Malaysian But Ket Teh is so different from Singapore's - it has a lot more ingredients and is less soupy. Other than the expected pork ribs (or meat), there were mushrooms, beancurds and the whole lot. Singapore's version is pork ribs in peppery soup base. My friends from Malaysia definitely do not like our version. I can understand why.

It was a night of delicious food, good wine and great company!
